Predator Wrist Blades Type 1
Recently I was asked if I still made several of my old Predator costume parts in particular the wrist blades, but on checking the old silicon moulds they had started to dry out, plus with access to more high tech means than I had before I set about designing some new versions.
As they are to be worn with a costume and I was starting from scratch I set about making them with no sharp edges or points, all the edges and points are rounded and smooth to the touch, but retaining that sleek deadly look at the same time.
The first version is based on the blades used in the films and to keep them thin as resin has its limitations strength wise, they have carbon fibre rods inserted into them to stop them from flexing to much, but saying that they are not strong or rigid enough to do any damage should you accidentally catch someone with them while in costume.
As you can also see as I included a ruler for size they are not small versions, they are in fact quite long, but I scaled them from screen grabs of the films so they are as accurate as possible.
This comes in beige resin ready for you to paint.
